As Mrs. Montana International, I speak out to educate parents, caregivers and doctors about the many aspects of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). My son experienced an Apparent Life Threatening Event (ALTE) episode when he was six weeks old and since then I’ve worked to raise funds for SIDS research.
My personal passion is to support the American SIDS Institute, a national non-profit healthcare organization which works to prevent sudden infant death and to promote infant health through an aggressive, comprehensive nationwide program. In April 2008, I assisted in raising over $115,000 for SIDS research and collectively have helped to raise over $250, 000 during the past three years. Kimberly is married to Charles (they met in their 6th grade band class) and they have four children between them. She is also CEO of Empyrion Wealth Management, Inc. and has been in the wealth management field for over 25 years.
