1.If you were famous what would your stage name be?
I would choose Sarah Everstrong because no matter what challenges life throws my way, I refuse to give up. From nearly dying during a severe Crohn’s flare to navigating the unknowns of a high-risk pregnancy, and spending a week in the hospital as my 3-month-old son underwent emergency surgery, I have faced adversity head-on. Through it all, I keep
pushing forward with resilience, strength, and determination—because quitting is never an option.
2.If you would attend a celebrity wedding which, would it be?
If I could attend any celebrity wedding, it would be Julia Roberts’. I’ve always admired her talent, grace, and the strong women she brings to life on screen. She recently gushed over her husband while celebrating their 22nd anniversary, which resonates with me as my husband Justin and I will celebrate 19 years together this July. I fall more in love with him
every day, making her love story even more inspiring to me.
3.What is the weirdest gift you’ve ever received?
The weirdest gift I’ve ever received was a soda-making machine my husband got me for Christmas. I was confused at first, but then he said, “You always ask me to grab you a soda —now you can have one anytime you want!” I couldn’t stop laughing because it was both practical and so sweet. Now, every time I use it, I’m reminded of how thoughtful (and strategic) Justin is!
4.What is the most random fact you know?
As a Crohn’s disease warrior, one of the most random yet important facts I share is that 70% to 80% of our immune system is actually in our gut. This is why gut health plays a crucial role in overall wellness. Taking care of our digestive system isn’t just about digestion—it’s key to a strong immune system and overall health!
5.What is the one thing you’ll never do again?
One thing I will never do again is underestimate myself. I used to speak negatively to myself, believing I couldn’t achieve what others could. Now, I focus on a positive mindset, surround myself with amazing mentors, and embrace growth. I’ve learned that stepping outside my comfort zone is where true success happens, and I refuse to hold myself back ever again.
